Information on posponed classes due to COVID-19

UPDATE : no reopening in mai.

The Forges team would first like to say THANK YOU for choosing to maintain your registration for one of our workshop and for agreeing to postpone it to a later date.

We know that the current world situation can be stressful and we want to give you some details on how we will postpone your training.

Which courses are postponed?

It is important to know that all of our May courses are postponed. We will contact the participants concerned as soon as we know when our trainings will be rescheduled.

When will Les Forges start their courses again?

Please know that we are ready to start giving our courses again as soon as we get the green light from the government! We don’t have a date yet. We are closely following the decisions for the reopening of the companies.

When will my training be postponed?

At the moment, it is difficult to give you a precise date. What is certain is that we have stopped our registrations for the months of May, June and July. This leaves us many dates to propose to you for the resumption of your training. We will send you a survey to make a choice as soon as we can resume our activities.

What measures will be in place when I go to my training?

All our training courses are normally in groups of 5 people maximum and we already have the sanitary facilities to maintain 2 meters distance between individuals. It is possible that we may reduce this to 3 people per course to ensure that the sanitary instructions are followed. We will adapt our measures according to public health advice.

I live in an area other than Montreal. Will this have an impact?

It depends on public health and the reopening of the circulation of the traffic. n between regions. Write us an email to tell us which region you live in so that we can do the appropriate follow-up: info@lesforgesdemontreal.org.

How can you help us ?

The best way to help us in this difficult time is to maintain your registration for your training! It is thanks to these funds that we will be able to survive the current crisis. Also, if you are connected to social networks, don’t hesitate to talk about us and share our publications!

Thanks again for your support. We look forward to teaching you how to forge!
